I've got hold of an oldish but virtually unused tacx cycle force one trainer, on the pretext that i might actually train more!
Does anyone know where i could get a copy of the instructions (pdf/online) and whether spare parts are available as the thumbscrew that holds the adjuster to the handlebars is missing?

    thanks

Hi - just went to sort out the rear wheel on my winter club bike and found the reason for a gentle creak was a broken hollow axle - first time for everything I suppose - anyway I'm now in need of a rear hollow axle to fit an old but lovely miche hub with a 126.5 mm old - so does anyone either have one or know where I can get one or know if it's straightforward to cut down a longer one.
    Thanks in advance

Its been great fun to read this as its developed. Although as a general point i'm a bit lost by the comments about brakeless riding; from loads of other threads on here there seems to be a plethora of people riding brakeless (something i'm not smart/brave/foolish enough to do) and I had got the impression that brakeless was considered reasonable by the forum in general, which would seem to be in contradiction to the response here?

A question if you don't mind, Any idea what time you be expecting to go past Good Easter and would you mind if i joined you there (assuming i can get a day pass?) Also, there is a very surprising hill at about 98 miles - North hill in little baddow, which is a bitch on fixed except for the young and strong
