Defeet Dura Gloves are the best I've ever had - not bulky, grippy, somehow windproof and warm even when it rains - and don't mind being put in the wash regularly, either. Cheap, too!
Not recommended when it goes below freezing, but for this time of year, ideal :)
Michelin Mud on the front and Vittoria XG pro on the rear worked well for me - until I switched to tubs. I don't like the Michelin Muds on the rear - don't seem to get much traction when it gets really muddy.
Consider splitting? Interested in shifters and front mech :)
