Yeah, there's nothing like a bit of bling. Of course, one man's bling is another man's "puke-on-shit-on-cock" so to speak. That gold is a bit over the top. There's too much of it. If were more understated it would work better. The first thing I'd do is ditch the wheels, stem and bar bling. They'd look alot better on a black bike or even a light green. Maroon and yellow with gold doesn't work. The so-called nekkid one is a good example of understated and has better appeal. Anyway, we all thought it was fodder for discussion and I thought I'd get comments here. Didn't take long, eh?
Ok, back in the bushes. Nice bikes here.

I think it might be ok without the fake gold wheels. The frame is lugged which is nice, the Miche group looks ok, the bars and stem are marginal but the wheels take it over the top of being too much. There is the issue of it being a Haro-Masi but then so many of the newer bikes are being made elsewhere other than the manufacturers with their names pasted on them. I was just curious to know what the body politic had to say. I had a rousing discussion with my friends here about it. Personally, I like the second one, if at all.
If I can find a suitable old school frame, I'm going to build one up and add it to my stable of rides. I actually have my eye on a track Bob Jackson which I can see with a campy pista setup.

No gold here. It has a proper Brooks saddle and bag. It's my personal ride. Is this P.O.S.O.C. ?
