Ok, I really am a beginner should I just keep an eye out for anyone selling for £250 or under? Would that get me a decent one?

My name is James and I am completely new to fixed gear bikes. I am looking to buy one this weekend/next week but only have about £250 to spend. I would love to get some advice of you guys? I was going to get one from Fellio but have read some terrible reviews on this site so was wondering what my other options were? Any good places to get second hand ones for this price in the London area?

I popped down to brick lane bikes earlier and they seem to have some cool things there. I want a fixed gear but with the ability to swap the wheel around and ride single gear (as I have never ridden fixed gear before!) They seem to have some good ones there around about the £700 mark (with the cycle to work scheme I should be able to afford one of those if I spread it out over the course of a year haha!)
I will endeavor to find a good one (but will probably end up with an ok one which i think looks great). I will post up here what I end up with! So be kind haha
