anyone who knows orchids knows they are good shoes:

In short: about a month or so ago (will check exact date) I got these shoes from source in size 12. however, dont know what size they've been using as they are a good centimetre longer than my previous orchids in size 12. Cant even use them to go out in, so Im pretty pissed off. I have ridden (bmx) in them once or twice and gone out in them once or twice, they are in very good condition. tiny bit of scuffing from crank armss, no frayed stitching. They are 56 quid brand new, so I would like to get some going out shoes that actually fit me. 20 for these is reasonable. problem is, theres not many size 13's out there (which is what these really are )

anyone who goes bay on a tuesday should message me and I can bring them along for you to have a look

    cheers

tbh, if you split it, you'll make a fair piece more. If you do, I'll dibs the pedals.....

all black, freewheel remover included, DK 12t freeweheel also inc. but I understand they were pretty shit.

havent used it in years, good nick. Only kept it because I had some weird kind of affection for it, probably because its been on so many of my bikes and seems like it was pretty much indestructable.

anyone interested? I'm hoping for £50 because part of me doesnt want to sell it....

this looks well good. need to try this myself sometime. cant offer any advice for something like this, but Ive travelled light a fair few times. I do know there is no need to carry a gas cooker and camping shit if you end up camping out and its wet.

simply buy six cans of beer. drink them. cut them in half, trying to make the tops a little jagged. dig little holes in the ground, put the cans in them so they are stable like, fill them up with paraffin, or meths. light it, and just plonk some kind of metal plate (we used flimsy aluminium dishes) on top. youll need some form of oil, either way it gets hot enough to cook steak. and not rare either.

you can do it with fewer beer cans too, but, six is a good amount.

better way is with baked bean tin with several holes punched in just above the level of the paraffin.

I really like the look of powergrips as foot retention, the idea is so simple and Ive had a go in a couple (granted on mountain bikes) but they hold my feet really well, so im thinking Im gonna buy some fairly soon.

however, I got big feet, and I like a large platform for my feet to stand on, and Ive got loads of bmx pedals floating around that Id like to use (I dont want to freestyle, I just want to use the pedals) rather than gather dust in cupboard, is there any way you can get powergips to work on bmx pedals?

if not, anyone want some battered old JIM C's left pedal pretty worn. got pins, but nightmare forcing them thru due to pedal grinds.

normal cheap LED lights for road user visibility.flashing draws attention alot more than you might think. certainly has more of an effect than crazy brightness. for my vision to see potholes and shit ....workers LED headtorch that I got for a tenner. great visibility, huge battery life.
