DOUG of the HEATHEN has organized a cafe ride for this Sunday.
Meet at 10am outside the hare and Hounds kings heath and commence to ride to Warwick at a leisurely pace.... no one will get left behind.Once at warwick, sit down, drink coffee, eat cake/eggs/bread etc.
Then home. easy.

Ride brakeless if you really feel you must, but don't try to justify it. Six years of no incident doesn't make it any less of a twattish thing to do.

No offence but riding brakeless is fucking retarded, as well as being illegal.
too true, but all it takes is anticipation..been riding without a brake on one of my bikes for 6+ years without incident. Boss the road.

Planning on leaving at 9am and the route i usually take goes out via Earlswood / Tanworth in Arden / Danzey green / Ullenhall / Shelfield / Little Alne / Aston Cantlow and to Snitterfield then loop back north toward via Lowsonford.
Happy to meet at any point.....
*Not too much stopping to be done though as i have to be at work in the afternoon....

Hey, as Gav isn't about on Sunday, thought i'd chime in. I'm going to be doing a loop out from Kings Heath to Snitterfield [around 48 miles of real nice roads ] at 16mph pace if anyone wishes to join me.
*May as well start getting sociable.

Thought it'd be worth mentioning on the forum [though i hold out no hope of recovery]...My 24" 1997 team floval flyer got stolen from Ideal last night. It is polished aluminium ball burnished frame/chrome aheadset landing gear forks/s+m redneck stem/crupi square cage pedals/crupi hubs [black]/ukai polished rims/s+m prince albert cranks [3rd run]/redline flite 44t sprocket/comp 3's.....a unique and rare item. would be a miracle to get it back but figured asking bike minded people might be worth a shot. as the prime time for riding this bike was the early 00's i don't know if i have any distinct photos to hand but if i do i'll post 'em. thanks in advance.
