Yes, thick strong cardboard bike box. Fits a 58cm racer. Unfortunately I seem to have chucked most of the neat plastic packing bits, but there's still a fork separator/protector thing, lots of foam for the tubes, and bubble wrap to boot.

I'm going to recycle it tomorrow if nobody wants it. It just delivered me my beloved Aussie racer safe and sound.
Comes free with a bit of bubble wrap and even some hub and derailleur plastic guard things.

btw re the average speed thing on the garmin route - it includes all of our breaks, except the long lunch one. all those 0kph's would have dragged the average down significantly. the edge has a neat option to automatically pause the timer if your speed drops below a set value... maybe I should enable that :-)

I'm Nick - I met some of you on the st margaret's ride.
Would love to come along on a Tuesday night - can't tonight, though I'd love to - I have no decent front lights. :-(
So I'm going to get some! Evan's recommended Ay-up - can anyone else suggest some brands to check out? I've never owned proper lights.
