i just realised i have bought a front halo areotrack (instead of areorage) wheel. its not one of the anondised ones and has no breaking area. halo say you shouldnt use these wheels with rim breaks. im only riding with a front break and was wondering if anyone's got any experience of using breaks on these wheels? are they going to fall apart or is it just to keep it looking pretty?
checked the search function and nothings coming up...
cheers

yeah yeah yeah. cutting was an option although i did try and progress was slow. Also i dont have half the equipment and if im gonna spend £20 buying stands, new hacksaw blades etc would rather stump up for a professional to do it. Found this which was good: http://www.carlgerrard.org.uk/seatpost/ for anyone who does want to try cutting method.
really what i wanted to know when i started was who i can go to in london who'll do this for me (which vinyl villian kindly answered 3 days ago!)

thanks kerley. just realised theyre about £15 more expensive as well so i might as just well stump up the money for postage and return them. not worth risking it with one brake and my history of collisions...
