got caught out a few days back...policeman jumped out into the road almost causing a 4 bike pile up.....ha!
anyway, not contesting it, but baffled by the charge letter. Its a standard form catered for driving offences.
options are to attend a driver's re-training course (National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme), pay a fine or wait for court.
despite the officer saying it could be up to a £50 fine, the letter shows £100 - and if paid, to also surrender licence for validation.maybe being a bit dim, being my first ever RLJ offence.
Anyone else ever receive one, and does it affect your driving licence? and how did you pay?side note: the officer did specify that the offence would have nothing to do with my driving licence. turns out they register your details with NDORS - which uses your driving license info (ie. LIES!!)
