Am interested in this as a base for racing on the track. Can you let us know a little more about the bike/frame's history and also where are you based so can look at in the flesh? Thanks

Thanks guys, appreciate your patience on this one. If Velodrome Shop are wrong I will go with the Koga or the Cervelo T1 unless I manage to find/one of you provides me with a lead to a second hand carbon frame with trusted provinance (not a P-X)...cheers. 'Wheels

Re the 464 being made in Taiwan or having drilled brake holes, see below from Velodrome Shop:

"No it’s an out and out track frame and can not be drilled for brakes sorry.

Unlike the majority of companies Look still stick to their roots and are based near the Magny Cours Formula One track in France where they do all there aerodynamic testing in F1 windtunnels. There bikes aren’t made in Taiwan.

Thank you...can't read geometry file on my Blackberry but the guys at Velodrome shop measured the size small Look frame head tube and said it was 126mm. This compares to 105mm for my size 54 Cervelo P3C TT bike so y-s is correct that the Look frame is tall...I have to use a high angled stem on my Cervelo to compensate for short head tube so hopefully should be OK with the Look...? Bring Me My Fix, have you seen one in the flesh?

Dear y-s, when you say good mass-start frame, will I not be able to use it for pursuits...as wanted to try these as natural extension of time trialing...? Thanks again for your thoughtful input and patience...all appreciated

Dear y-s, how does the 464 in size small come out on your analysis? I have looked at the Look website and that of Velodrome shop which sells them but can't work out whether passes your test so to speak...size small seems to fit me more than medium which I would have thought appropriate based on 54.5cm top tube on road bike...
    Cheers

If going alu, Look 464 "looks" the part...has anyone seen one in the flesh? Heard any reports re on track use?

In response to RPM, I am riding a friend's 531 Mullet frame, Royce chainset, Campy Record hubs with Mavic rims...so choices for alu frame are Look 464, Koga or Cervelo T1...the latter at £1000 seems a lot for an alu frame? Or hold out for second hand carbon frame?
Wheels - Campy Pista or stick to Elipses? Easton track bars? Cinelli...
