Yeah it's still good, I haven't noticed any poorer battery performance since new but I am not a high user
If you thought the battery sucked balls I'd take a return, but I find it highly unlikely!

I only avoid crispy bottoms as it leads to burst yolks more often - ain't nobody got time for that
My favourite way at the minute is in a non-stick pan with a little butter, nice and gentle, flip it over. Pop that badboy in a bacon sandwich (brown multiseed, toasted) with ketchup and black pepper, now we're cooking!

Almond flakes and coconut is good, also sometimes I will heat some butter in a frying pan and give the rice a bit of colour before I put water etc in it. Also tend to use the mixed wild variety from the supermarket, the mixed coloured grains look awesome

Nah, what you wanna do, right, is put it in a casserole dish - water ratio of 2.25:1 sounds about right, then put a stock cube and some saffron in, and put it in the oven
