Wouldn't that be quite a cheapish solution? Listen to mdcc- that 900 quid are the best investment you can make. When you can not reassemble your stem the proper way you kinda earned to pay that money for a stem... That is porn just for the bank account of Zinn!

Seeing Sacha White make a bike with that kinda brake setup would make me think over that previous statement again, nyquil.
In my eyes that bike is gorgeous just the way it is.

Don't think so. Frames that large just look kinda odd.

Same frame, same look, and 700's as well.
(but it does not qualify for this thread, therfore just the thumbnail)

    are those 650's?

Nope. It is just a decent sized frame.

Why not? It takes some time to hollow it but if I remember right, it takes 3-4 months making one of those. There should be a day or two in the schedule for hollowing the seat tube. Some manufacturers make two separated halves that are glued together at the end.
Since these bikes are super custom I don't get why they need an adjustable seatpost at all.
Btw, the craftsman usually makes yachts out of this wood.

anything made from wood (except fenders and boxes) = fail

    Rethink about it!

That is what I call porn. Check out the wooden handlebar.

That looks gorgeous! Very nice job you did there. Thanks for sharing the pic an the information about the little space between chain wheel and chain stay!
I am just curious about two things. First: what kind of saddle is that? Second: are you really worried about the chain hitting your chain stay (because of the protector)?

Thanks for your thoughts! 61:18 was a mistake. Actually I ride 61:16 on my capo and tend to even go higher rather than lowering the gear. But with the smallest freewheel with 16T there is no other way but going into the 60s with the chainwheel...
