Tango, I weigh a lean/toned/muscular/tanned 80ish kilos... I use 32's and they are fine.
Good job I'm in Bristol then, as there wouldn't be enough room for the two of us in London. With the 36's I wouldn't have to get the nipple
clampswrench out as much, but it does seem overkill...Also, sorry for the repost.

I'm finally back on track to build my fixed gear (having got sidetracked by buying a carbon road bike last summer) The problem is as stated in the title, which option would be best for the rear wheel? I'm going to run a zenith hub on a mavic open pro, and as there is no price difference between 32/36 would it be better to opt for the more bombproof 36?

Been talking to the seller and not entirely sure it's legit. They wanted me to send cash via special delivery and only then would they give me the details to give to the courier to pick it up. I offered to send the cash with the courier but apparently this isn't acceptable. Might be ok, particularly if you live local and can go in person. Just letting everyone know. I'm out anyway.
£3 more will outbid me on it...I've decided I would rather have more money to spend during freshers next week.

Would you say this is a bit dodgy?
It states it has 24 gears but I think, from the pic its converted to a single speed bike.
It has two chainrings...
