I went out for a cycle yesterday, and made a stop of at Betta to get a bit more info. They have a very good range of colours, a lot better than I expected.
Prices were £38+VAT for any solid colour.. and ~£60+VAT for one of the more elaborate paint schemes.. some of which are fairly funky. 48 hour turnaround.
I will most definitely use them when I get round to it/knowing exactly what I want.Re. spray cans .. first I don't trust myself, and 2nd I think the result in general would probably be a bit shit compared to powder-coat. Each to there own however..

I spoke to a couple of car body shops near where I live re. powder coating.
They both pointed me towards a place in Shiremoor called Betta..Does anyone have any experience of this place ? Costs .. quality etc. ?

I saw this on eBay yesterday, and tried to convince my mate to buy it since it was only at £15. I'll have another word with him, see what he thinks. £70 will most likely be too steep though..

ugh .. some numpty has bought a shiny Create/unipack on my street. it's tied to a pole overnight too, asking to be stolen.

about 2am last night on northumberland street .. lumi pink rear deep v, chopped straight bars/risers i think.
i was steaming and shouted 'do a skid' or something, but he had an ipod in so i probably just seemed like a very aggressive pisshead, haha.. sorry.
