those trails can be ridden on a cross bike, just depends how fast you want to go
although there has been an increase of people riding downhill bikes and getting shuttle runs to ride the 'barry knows best' trail, which is amusing for all the 'xc'ers'ha, i was going to say BKB would be your best bet, maybe telegraph and the one that runs off from deliverance over near coldharbour. sounds like you know them all anyway, i should come over on my crosscheck
and shuttle runs?? theres a freakin fireroad to pedal back up, thats shameful
i miss living out that way

^^ mate, sarcasm aside i think you will be fine with less than 4. but all i was saying is they are fast and windy with roots and generally point down hill, i didnt mean 'DH' in an 'Xtreme' sense just that they are largely trails people built to ride fast with MTBs but i am sure can be ridden on rigid bikes with enough fun to make people smile.

So i was in my friends bike shop and some hip art skool dude rolls in on what I now know to be a
Crapamel Cycles bike. He swaggas over and shows us his chain that just snapped and the brake
lever that has also just come apart. I was expecting that he had been riding hard but it turns out
he had brought the bike that day from Crapamel Cycles HQ in west london. On a closer
inspection the chainring and rear sprocket didnt line up, it was about 3cm out. The deep v's
were so cheap and nasty it didnt even have a machined braking surface, it was some nasty
plastic riged thing. The forks were askew, the rear dropouts didnt line up, It took two of us to
get the rear wheel out and back in again. Oh and the bottom bracket was loose.is this true? why didnt he not go back to 'crapamel' for a refund or repair?
just feel like this guy is getting royally flamed on here, but then if this is indicative of his work...
just uncovered mine in the loft, its in California now so i'll rep it in the bay area
