  Thank you Claus for organising the ride, it was a great experience. Though it was out of my depth but I was grateful for the encouragement by you all.
  Like the 'machine' said (Texas) when he stayed at the back, it won't get any easier but you will just get faster! I guess I just have to go out and do more rides to really appreciate the beauty of cycling.

  im afriad not :-D... rec'd a call from marco this afternoon and got to know about this ride.

  i take it that it will be OK if i come along with my geared bike.

  this will my longest ride to date.. simply can't wait!

  the previous one being the vintage jersey ride.. (now you know my cv...) and that was the longest ride to date then... :-D

  I don't think it was through choice, he smashed up his jaw after some dickhead knocked him off whilst stationary at a set of lights, and hasn't been able to eat solid food for weeks.
