  What is that in miscellaneous then? That was a first place I checked if there are any rides comming. I would presume others do the same instead of going through threads. But except drinking there is not too much listed there.

  Was 'out of order' for a while after being hit by a car but this looks good.

  It would be a good idea to add it to the LFGSS calendar.

  Should get one of these... pedestrians would think there is a ship passing through central london! Fatality rate would go up immediately among older citizens.

  I've got one, and they are very loud when pumped up. Like tyres though the pressure drops and the day comes when you wish to warn a pedestrian who's about to step in front of you and out comes a pathetic "meep!"

  When you use it like crazy during the day then I am sure you are right - I saw one today with a 2L bottle. I got a standard size botle, but can confirm that it is very loud - so much that I was afraid to use it today and so was cycling very slowly to avoid situations where it was necessary to use a horn. That sounds like a paranoia.

  But the main question still remains: are these legal/illegal and does anyone have something to back it up?

  Hi,

  Does anyone know if air horns (like airzound) are legal in UK, maybe a paragraph from the highway code? Looked through HC on direct.gov.uk and no information about horns.

  Also tried the search on LFGSS and still no joy.
