    www.bike-events.com it costs £16

I'm doing it with some friends who are on geared bikes, and I am hoping to prove to them that they don't need gears! However, bit worried about my current set up, I am running only 55 gear inches which is great for nipping around the city but I will need nearer 70 gi I think for a decent run.

Sparky, happy to meet up on the ride, I might have trouble keeping up (see above para) but the day is more about a social ride for charity than a race which is cool.

Anyone here doing Norwich 50 on June 7th? I am thinking about it but never done that many miles on a single speed, I use mine mainly for nipping around the city.

I know the one, never thought of a BMX store, but yes in fact my current wheels are BMX with a widened axle (my frame is 132.5mm so it can take 130 or 135, but not 120...)

Anyone know a decent wheel builder in Norwich/Norfolk? I'm looking for a 20" flip flop for my swift folder (going to get that fixed and then spend time on the M-Trax project). I can buy all of the parts online but need someone to put it all together!

I use 20" DiamondBack wheels on my Swift Folder, got a pair for £15 on eBay, the advantage of the Swift Folder is it uses standard sizes all round so lots of options will fit. I will upgrade my wheels within the next year though, I want to get a flipflop so I can give fixed a go.

Here's some pics the day my frame arrived, with all the other parts (see if you can spot the missing bit) and once complete :)

What ratios are you guys riding around Narwich with? I'm thinking of converting my 15 year old Titanium Raleigh M-Trax frame, not sure what gearing to go for though...

If heading out on a wet night just wrap your rear light/seat post in a layer of cling-film.

I bought a Swift Folder frame from Peter in Brooklyn, took months to arrive, but was worth the wait :) Shipping to the UK was $70 and the import taxes were about £60. I think this is the best way to do it, import the frame and buy everything else here in the UK.
