Just thought I'd add to this thread as myself and my father purchased Viner bikes through Le Beau Velo. This was at their previous address in Great Eastern Street so I can't vouch for how easy to find the new premises is! I can say, though, that Mal is a very patient and honest guy who is clearly passionate about what he does. He has been consistently reliable from the initial consultation and fitting through to after sales service and we are very happy with the product we have purchased.

Reading this just reminded me - I spotted this orange Klein on Sunday around 17.30 heading north up Kingsland Road. Sorry, meant to mention in then but slipped my mind. Was on a bus at the time so little I could do to check the guy out but he was as described above - blonde or ginger pony tail. Best of luck locating it!

Spotted that dude on the Nelson again, this time near Burgess park at about 8.20ish. I really like that bike.

Hello! - think that was me on my way into Uni this morning... Was that you I passed crossing the road into Burgess Park? (you were with a lady rider - unless you are the lady of course?!)

Just bought some lovely Swrve gear from www.alwaysriding.co.uk - Arrived next day but unfortunately the jacket was the wrong size. Pete from Always Riding let me drop by (Wandsworth) to try on a different one and stopped for a cup of tea and a chat. Great guy, great service - Thanks!

The frame measurements confused me at first. I don't think the top tube is that short as the frame sizes are from bottom bracket centre to top of the seat tube, not top of top tube. The seat tube ends 2cm above the top tube so a 57cm equals a 55cm using the regular centre to top measurement. 54cm top tube on 55cm frame is average, no?

I have one of these frames. Built it up around 3 months ago and have only used it on the road. I really like it but only have a Lemond Fillmore to compare it to when riding fixed. It's light and stiff and well worth the money IMHO. My only slight concern has been aesthetically where the paint around the track ends flaked off at first use. Touched up with a bit of nail polish now and looks fine! Am in South East London area if anyone thinking of getting one fancies a spin...

@ Ved - cheers! Those bars are just the stock Bontrager ones from my old Fillmore - waste not want not!

@GA2G Thank you for the welcome. Hmm - reasons for choosing that frame where price, availability and also because I hadn't seen any others about.

    Thank you :)

I don't have a lot to compare the Nelson to, tbh - previous fixed frame was a Fillmore and before that was into mtbs. I am enjoying it though - much more responsive than the Fillmore. Seems light but haven't weighed it! Quality wise it looks good to me, although paintwork is maybe a bit dodgy - cracked and flaked on the dropouts as soon as I fitted the rear wheel. For the money I am happy with it though...

Blimey - seems to be a lot of hating on this thread at the mo! Anyway, I'm a newly registered, longtime lurker and here's my new build. No face pic yet - am too shy....

Why isn't Paul Weller an option?! In fact I am none of them. Name is not a reference to the popular beat combo despite it's striking similarity...
