This bike was bought from a friend on the forum earlier this year. As I'm moving back to Canada (unfortunately) I have to sell my bike that I have come to love. She's a real looker, imo. Lightly ridden for the past few months to and from uni (<1 mile roundtrip).
Specs are listed below. Note that a few modifications have been made that are not shown in the pictures, notably:
- Bike is currently running SS freewheel, but is setup flipflop - rear hub now has fixed and SS cogs (in picture only 1 cog is on)
- One small decal from top bar on frame has been removed
- Paint has been touched up throughout
Details:
Raleigh Milk Race 59 cm frame
46/17 ratio free - 46/16 ratio fixed
Black alloy wheels - true, run very nicely
New flip-flop large flange hub at the back
Front hub - with quick release skewer (Bontrager)
Smooth bottom bracket and headset
Ridgeback saddle
dia tech bmx style lever on bull horn barsAsking £250 ono, pickup or meet near Farringdon EC1. Pickup or meet only, will not post sorry.
PM any questions. Thanks everyone, and thanks to the forum for a good introduction to cycling in London, it was really helpful and fun for a foreigner.

Very lightly used OnGuard Brute LS 5000 X4 u-lock, bought a couple of months ago. Original packaging and all keys included.
Looking for 25 pounds. Great deal considering it is in perfect condition and I bought it for a bit more a couple of months ago. I can meet up in central London, prefer a pickup from EC1, close to Farringdon.
I'm moving back to Canada and unfortunately this is too heavy for me to pack.
Specs are as follows:
Massive 16mm (5/8") hardened steel shackle
High security floating disc cylinder with more than 30.000 differs
Double locking mechanism (locks both sides)
Dust cover protects cylinder
5 keys included (1 key is illuminated)But most importantly, ranked #3 for best of the best u-locks by GA2G (and for best value security), ranking found here: http://www.londonfgss.com/thread17938-6.html#post563834
Lock looks exactly like this:

Well ok, but would you care to point out any other use for this thread?
Well I'm fine with the puns, as long as some substantive comment is made about how the philosopher would respond to the question of cycling through a red light.
For example:
I'm not sHayek at red lights - I run right through them - because I believe the state has no place intervening in my personal cycling pursuits.
Or:
Of Coase I run red lights if there are no cars coming or pedestrians in the way - the absence of transaction costs allows me to break the law with impunity (provided no police are around).
