  Thanks all! Did try a brew after cleaning it, tasted acidic and metallic. Cleaned it again and the whites spots are even worse. I should've added that l'm in HK where everything is filthy.

  What's the best, cheapest , legit way to upgrade from 10.4 to 10.5 ?

  I believe that it is not possible to go direct from tiger to snow leopard, is this correct?

  I need to upgrade a 2.16Ghz intel core 2 duo Imac to run office 2011

  You can upgrade directly from Tiger to Snow Leopard as that's what l did using the full retail box version. However, be warned, SL is piece of shit system compared with Tiger. I hear Office 2011 is crap, l'm using Openoffice and it's very good.
