But Tennessee Whiskey doesn't have the same qualities as Bourbon, and does not have the same complexity. Sure you get the odd decent Single Barrel from JD but on the whole, Bourbon has more character.
If you have anything you can recommend to change my mind, please, recommend away.
PS - we're not all Brits, some of us are in the 10% with passports
Sorry to divert from bikes for a moment (btw, what the hell happened, this thread used to be incredible, I stop paying attention for a few weeks and it goes RW and ugly-crap).
Anyway, I'm afraid I'm a bourbon drinker myself... so I wouldn't be much help on the Tenn-whiskey front. I imagine the geographical limitations on TN-whiskey play a role in there being very few offerings in that category.
I'm working on a magnum bottle of Eagle Rare (the owners of a local fancy wine shop went down to the distillery and selected a few barrels which were bottled up for them. This is in Boston, Massachusetts, so don't get too excited), which is quite nice, and trying not to consume a bottle of 23 yo Old Rip Van Winkle (wow, amazing).
While I imagine the bourbon offerings are a little slimmer over there, I suppose you must have access to some of the export-only offerings?

The funny thing is, when I see an ANT... I'm not sure I'm thinking functionality. Or if I do, I guess I don't see much in the way of versatility, which in the ends lends itself to broad functionality.
Anyway, they are pretty, and frickin' expensive!
I wouldn't kick one out of bed, although my wife would likely give the bike and I the old heave-ho.

Funny, I was examining the details of the Takhion, and for some reason noticed the Subaru wagon in the background, which led me to notice the buildings.
And then I recognized the street... Beacon Street in Brookline Massachusetts. I'll have to keep my eye out for that bike once the weather improves.
No, this place has two locations, one in downtown Boston and one in the South End (I can't say I've actually been in, my father is friends with one of the owners, judging from the locations and having met her I'd imagine it's very yuppie, not that that's necessarily bad).
Which wine store is in Marlborough? I can't say I make it out that way often, but one never knows.
Bourbon's getting a bit ridiculous, so trendy they can sell anything from cheap swill to pricey bourbon bordering on cognac. Admittedly the renewed interest has its advantages.
I'm going to have to dig up some excellent photos of bikes not owned by myself in order to make up for all my gabbing about non bike subjects.
