If possible put it on your household contents insurance. I use M&S who cover any item upto £4k (I think) away from home without having to have it named on the policy.

Thought I would say hello, I've just recently built up an old dawes frame which I think dates from the '70s. I've got a flip flop track hub and am currently funning it free - just need to build up the courage to run it fixed. Loving the ride so far, single speed is a revalation compared to riding my mtb with slicks.

For the money you can't beat the charge spoon, and also looks good on my old dawes.

I've never had a problem with them when I have needed to run two of these on an XC mountain bike, however I would prefer not to have them on an SS or fixed bike.

Yes, I fell over when I first used them - very embarrasing as it was at the lights outside Holbon tube station with loads of pedestrians watching. Didn't take too long to get used to them though!!

Clefty, If you will take £10 for the jacket I will take it. Can you confirm it is still waterproof and there are no rips etc. Thanks John
