If its where I think it is, it's on my commute route at the bottom of a short but steep hill. Road surface is poor at the bottom of the hill. Cars coming the opposite direction will tend to speed up and cut the bend to make it up the hill. I max out at 34mph on my fixed going down but you can easily hit 45 on a geared bike. I shall put some flowers down this week. So sad. RIP.
On my first fixed bike (my dads old 1960 holdsworth) it has a Stronglight chainset very similar to this one. Very light but the chainring bolts were so close to the BB shell that they used to cause so many problems with the torque they had to take. Forever working loose and damaging the paint.
