25.4 i replaced mine with nitt b123 25.4 and kept stem for nows

i just bought 111mm veloce bb to go with pista cranks but the spindle seems to be 3mm longer on the left. does this mean its asymmetrical.its supposed to be symmetrical. pardon my ignorance but this is my first build
