  I did it on the road bike- it gets to go out so infrequently that it would have sulked otherwise.

  Took two hours and forty five minutes, which I was happy with- arrived at twenty to twelve.

  However I was pretty much blown by that point, which was annoying- I think I went out too hard, then had not much left at the end, which was inconvenient as the last fifteen miles had an evil headwind.

  It was fun, I'll do it again next year.

  I did it also.... I agree with that evil headwind for the last 15m... It really sucked the fun out of the home straight...

  A bunch of the stalwart members are watching the Ventoux stage 21 at the Coach and Horses at noon today.

  What part of town is the Coach and Horses in? Its hard to find a pub that will show the Tour.

  It may also have been the British Heart Foundation London to Southend- roughly 6,000 riders set off on Sunday morning from Victoria park- I was one of them.

  Its proved that you cant beat Contador on a Mountin Top Finish.

  Great ride by Wiggins... His team must ride for him now.
