Well nothing dumb per say just an observation on the fact that seemed new to bikes. I'm not actually saying it's a bad thing at all. I actually quite liked her, thought she was very sweet.
Anyway, we're all new to our jobs at some point.... I've been doing mine for 3 years and I still don't understand what I'm doing !!!!!!

they are top 2 for bike stores i visit and like
Who's the other one?
I've ordered a frame and forks through 14, as nice as the guys are they all seemed a little confused the first time I went in. However, now that I've been in there a few times and they recognise me, all seems to be good. All in all, I think it's a pretty cool shop.
Also, who's the girl who works there now... She's hilarious, not sure she knows a massive amount about bikes but is extremely helpful and seems to be learning fast.

Thanks everyone... got some food for thought.
Not sure I could afford the Goldtechs so may have to go for something a little less pricey like the Miche primatos. I currently have got some Formula Track Hubs in white and was thinking of having them laced to black Deep Vs with black DT spokes but I'm increasingly tending towards more of a stealth look.

Good Wheels/Hubs at an Economical Price
I'm thinking about getting some new wheels for my next fixed gear project but don't have the most amount of money (credit crunch and all).
Any ideas on what would be a suitable purchase to go with a Gun Metal Grey Frame/Forks? (Currenlty all other parts are black).Unfortunately I don't have a pic of the of the frame yet as it's still being finished
