Saturday night was my first Dynamo. It was also my first time after joining the forum in 2008 meeting members in the flesh in the overly tall forms of Seager and GoatandTricycle.
They have both reported on the actualities of our ride so i haven't got much to add.
That said i loved it. Hypnotic riding along gently undulating roads framed by fields made luminous by the moon as we cruised out the last 50km was great. Definitely will be back next year.
A shredded side wall on the A12 on the way to Ipswich the following day less so.

So...i have lurked around here for many years whilst living up north. Now ive moved down south recently and am thinking about doing the dynamo (and ride out to ipswich for a train) last minute and was wondering if there were any groups riding that i could maybe tag my wheel onto? not sure i want to solo it.
Thanks

Hey there... Kind of desperate request for advice. I've had my laptop stolen in Florida over the weeekend and return to the UK next Tuesday. I need to have a new machine sorted for when I get back to the country for work. I've got a budget of about 900 quid and want a decent gaming machine that I can use for general work bullshit of office/photoshop/illustrator/premier/ableton. I haven't bought a laptop for 5 years and feel totally out of touch with the state of the technology and due to being out here working I haven't got any time to sort the research. What's good kicking around in my price bracket? Any advice hugely appreciated humans!

OK so i'm way behind the curve on the Dark Souls 2 post earlier in the thread unhappy about the PvP. I would have really agreed with this for a while. I was relentlessly invaded by players i just couldnt beat and was always terrified when i was invaded. But slowly over time as i have built up a character where invaders rarely have a chance against me. Love it when i corner a wriggly little faith build in a corridor and batter the shit out of them with my tank. You can see the panic in the way they move. Stick with it i guess is the message. Ultimately it comes good!

Hi There!
I have a almost brand new Lazer Z1 for sale. Used for two commutes and one 40km ride. This is the most comfortable and light helmet i have ever used but it is slightly on the large size for me hence the sale. Its a medium but large medium seems more appropriate. Comes with clear aeroshell for the wet winter days.
£120 ONO.
Based in leeds so can deliver here or will post.
Thanks! -

Not all the way down to Ipswich but far enough to know i'd made a poor navigational decision
