  I have a Macbook thats about 2 years old and is running 10.6.8. Would it be worth my while to upgrade to an SSD as I've read a few things regarding this? If so what is the best way to go about this?

  Definitely - I have a black macbook (2006 vintage) which was running 10.5.8 and generally feeling a bit lacklustre. Installed a 256GB SSD (very simple to do yourself, but if not confident there are places to get it done) and even though the macbook only has SATA 1 connection, it now flies. Really would recommend if you want to breathe life into an old machine. I will at some point soon get rid of my optical drive and put an old HDD in there, but I'm still finding excuses to keep it.....

  12-26 is a road cassette, it will be fine with Rival.
  Thanks a lot - I was getting confused by the Chain reaction website and the 1050 12-26 seems to be discontinued elsewhere. Will get on and order.

  Can anyone tell me if there is any major difference (apart from weight, cost and ratios!) between SRAM PG1050 MTB Cassette: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=55201 and a SRAM PG1050 Road Cassette: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=51846 ? I would like to run the 12-26 ratio (i.e. MTB cassette) on my Gazelle with Rival groupset - will this work?
