yeah, but when doing any exercise your body releases endorphines too. and those make you happy.
but agression looms there too. i think its london, innit?
crowded, grey, smelly, and we re all squased in here, and always have somewhere to go very quickly.
im so much more chilled out when i ride in small and say, continental cities.

Nah, it's not just london. I used to turn into a right agressive sod on the bike in sheffield.

The adrenaline theory makes total sense to me. It's scary shit cycling in traffic so you get that whole survival edge thing going on, which in turn can make you quite agressive.

top-roping on sand stone sounds cool.

I miss the old derbyshire gritstone - it's like getting a manicure at the same time!

I'm guessing this would be a good place to say 'hi'.

I currently ride.. dare I say it.. cough a 21 speed cough old 90s mongoose zero g xc mtb, a tatty black ruption BMX and I have an even tattier (read 'completely ceased') red custom bmx that I rescued in dire need of some serious TLC.

I am, however, after building my very own super-duper (no doubt tatty like the rest of my stable) fixed gear bike and am addicted to freecycle in the hope that I might strike gold and nab me a road frame.

So yeah.. here I am, hoping to pick brains and make new buddies :)

I'm new to the saaarf and would be up for some outdoor trad climbing. I'm not very good though.. last climb was a hard severe. Haven't been in ages.
