    Yep, thanks Skully, I went to the BikeWorkshop in Bristol and thats basically what he said to do. Which is what I will be doing in a couple of months I reckon, but think i'll just ride it as is for now and see how I get on with it. I've wanted to d the fixed for a while now which is my main reason for buying it!

    Have ordered some of the Elk grips on freshtripe to match with the brooks sadle.

    picked this up of gumtree last night… Want to keep it as authentic as possible so would look at just changing the hub and chain-set then giving it a good'ol clean-up.

    Im on a budget tho, and have never done this before so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thats lovely that! Exactly what im looking for…
    anyone in Bristol know of anyone selling a bike? Looking for something classic and plain like that, but would be willing to do a project also.
