clamping top tube is still a FAIL!! tubing isn't designed to take weight there and especially with double butted tubing, you're asking for trouble.

    FWIW, seat post!

As I said, i loosened the clamp right off, it is not actually clamped onto the tube so there is no force at all on the top tube.
I have another 531c db frame which is 24 years old, and old raleigh road ace and it has done thousands of miles and is still perfect so think I just about know how to loof after a bike frame :-)
Also graduated in engineering so understand all of newtons laws, unfortunately too well as one of them slows me down more with age :-)

    clamping top-tube, FAIL!

Nothing wrong with clamping the top tube, it is neoprene lined and not even clamped tight, it was just closed a little toi take photograph.
As for the flag? It could have been worse could have been a different flag I will not mention :-)
I prefer to sell the bike as is and will probably advertise it on ebay at some point but like it and still use it even though I have new dolan arc.
The rolls saddle is now on my Arc.
I also have a 105 front brake to go with this and the original long pinarello stem.
I am 5'10" and have 33" legs so rode this bike no problems, I do not see the obsession with having really small frames with huge seat posts and extended stems.
This bike is really ok for 5'10 to 6'2".
Don't really want to split the bike but if need be I will. I have seen zipp wheels go for almost as much as the bike is :-)
The wheels were rebuilt by GB mechanic and were tied and solderred. Two new tubs also.
