Lovely classic frame, needs some work, was going to be a project but simply don't have the time.Cinelli bars. Shimano 105 shifters. Mavic open pro rear wheel and Mavic Reflex front wheel, both mucky but true.

Yeah I considered both chinook and yukon, well Yukon only briefly, my ideas of touring again are more aspirational now with two kids. I really like the chinook but it is a fair bit extra and not sure what more you actually get? A slightly stiffer frame?

Some lovely bikes here love the idea of ti and a bike that really lasts. Am very close to parting with my hard earned cash for a van nic mistral. Any other options in the sub 1500 bracket I should be looking at? Mostly going to be used for sportives and odd bit of touring.
