    I have an On-One inbred 29er and would recommend it to anyone reading this thread. Full ridgid SS with the On-One carbon forks.I have Kenda Nevegals and run them at 30psi with stans. The ride is sweet. I have hit some rough trails on it too and it has held up well.

    I've seen the niner fork in a shop and it was suprisingly thicker than i expected. Lovely though. I want.

    So - slightly off topic, where is the best place to buy coloured 27inch tires.

    agree. useful. So if you have an old frame redy for restoration, how can you tell what size rim it should take. I have a couple of old ones awaiting a makeover. I have no idea of the date, brand etc. I have an old 700 rim (measures 622 on the rim) and there appears to be about 15mm clearance on the fork. Could a 27inch squeeze in there?
