Thanks for the comments peps, i stand corrected and just want some guidance/tips on the kit to use when converting what was a derailer specced bike to a FIXED animal, best wheels to get hold of, hubs, etc, are their shops in London that have the relevant stock of Fixed parts ?

Hi All

I'm looking to build up a fixie, I have a Vitus 979 frame, and a few other bits that came with this bike, such as brake calipers/levers/forks/seatpost.
Need some advice as to wheels that would fit the 130mm rear wheel hangers.
Can you just buy fixie wheelsets or do you have to build wheels from scratch ?
Could I fit track hubs on rear&front wheels ?
Looking to fit courier type bars but at present the headset has a Stronglight spider installed, so how do i fit the headset with a higher stem to bolt the courier bars onto ?
Can I also fit a triple chainring on front ?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
