Mother knows best. Or so I thought. But it turns out my mother has actually gone mad.
Aged 75, having, to my knowledge, never owned a bicycle in her life, she rode from Edinburgh in Scotland to the Isle of Iona, on the other coast of Scotland from Wednesday to Sunday.

If you havent ridden a quality cross bike off road you should. So much fun.
Reluctantly for sale my Condor Barrachi Cross from 2005. Only used over one winter (2005-6) and raced twice. I have had major surgery to my core muscles twice and I sadly cant race offroad any more.
Its an injury I've had since before I've had the bike - I've only now admitted to myself that cross riding is beyond the capacity of my kidney-free, 96 sitich repaired core muscles so:

Reluctantly my Condor Barrachi Cross from 2005. Only used over one winter (2005-6) and raced twice. I have had major surgery to my core muscles twice and I sadly cant race offroad any more.
Size 61cm. Black with gold decals. Made from Dedacciai EM2 Aluminium. Compact Vega chainset with 175 cranks. Campag Centaur 10 speed. Wheels: Campagnolo Scirocco G3 with two Tufo cross clincher tubulars (no longer sold). Avid shorty brakes. Fizik Pave saddle, Deda Metalstick seat post, ITM carbon stem and bars. SPD mtb pedals.
