Hello all,
I worked for Candor as a Sales Assistant for a few months a few years ago. Around 4pm on a pretty much bog standard weekday, I staggered back from a liquid lunch - which had spiralled massively out of control even by my standards - and I decided to set off round the shop I had come to loathe to have a sort of sarcastic look around.
After having a wander, breathing heavily and laughing bitterly at some of the bike parts on display, I asked the owner of Candor (Randy Teen) if I could have a sweet (there was a basket of hard candies - or "boiled sweets" as we call them in the UK - next to the till). I hope I'm not losing too many of you if I say that, for effect, I asked this in a "Kevin the Teenager" kind of voice.
Mr Teen said 'Are you drunk?' as the ferocity of my breath hit him. I replied that I was and that there was nothing he could do about it. He said "Right, that's it, I don't need this - you're shit anyway, you're still on your probationary period, I'm giving you a week's paid notice as agreed and you can leave now". And - as I left - said 'Don't let the door hit you on the way out, you drunken bell-end.' It did.
I remind you, this was shouted at a grown man of no more than than 27 years of age.
I offer this for your consciences. You decide. Do you want to (do) business with these cyclists anymore?
You're all so shit. No one replied to my thread. pls read. Not the thread, that was shit.
