Lot of pricks out there. Some will look down at you 'cause you are new to the scene. Screw them, everyone starts somewhere. I'm a courier, yet I don't hate fakingers( actually I do hate the ones that pull up at the lights ahead of me and then get in my way, but I digress). A city boy on a fixed is still ONE LESS CAR. Tell me that's not a good thing.
P.S BLB looked down their noses at me, Condor frame, radio, Courier bag and all. Won't be going back. -
Friday night, nine or nine thirty. Three pints in my belly and radio in the bag (it's no fun if they don't race). Old St really is a race track.
Had to wear a helmet in N.Z. and hated it. Look at the countries with a large ratio of cyclists. No helmet law in any of them. Wear what you want, I don't think the majority of you peers will care. If It makes you happy, wear a helmet. I chose not to.
