That colour as much as I don't like to admit it, is defintely nicer.

did I saw your bike on Clerkenwell Road once?

No, that wouldn't have been me....

After around 1200 miles on this (ahem) 'Medium' 2009 frameset....

....I have replaced it with a Large 2010-spec one. It's just as brilliant, but fits me much nicer (I suggest anyone looking to buy one that they ignore On-One's sizing guide!).

I love the (flawless) metallic brown finish on this year's model!

My old dear brought me up with the attitude of 'if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything nice at all'. It has served me well, I usually (nearly always in fact) bite my tongue but fuck me sideways, that is a true abortion of a bike, in the worst way possible.

You posted a picture probably hoping for compliments. You will have to accept the (fully justified) overwhelming and universal criticism, quite frankly. What, in all that is holy were you thinking of, for pity's sake?

Being individual is something to be proud of (there is far too much 'me too' in some circles, especially with bikes) but there is still a 'right' way to do anything.

I mean, that simply cannot be comfortable to ride, surely?! (I'm trying to imagine what sort of stretch you have to the pedals), notwithstanding the (already mentioned) stresses that you're putting on what would've been a very nice frameset originally.

You have just ruined that bike, sorry but you have.

(I am too assuming that this is just a joke, ha ha etc!)

I had one on my Coppi before I sold it. Very very comfortable and looked fantastic, but to be honest, I'm not sure how long the suede finish would last.

I'd only done 300 (dry) miles and the suede was starting to detach a little underneath. As I say, I then sold the bike so can't say long-term. I would imagine a leather Regal or Rolls would last better but even then, I don't know if you'd get Brooks' level of longevity.....

what are the gloves for, are you a mime artist, a surgeon or a murderer?

All three. Just call me Dr Harold Marceau....

I don't understand... the D-shaped is bigger than the challenge inside surely?

Yes, it is bigger, even with the 'bag within a bag' (sorry, I can't bring myself to use the term 'purse' that Brooks use!!)
