hi guys was wondering if anyone'd be able to lend me 2 bromptons (or other folding bikes) for two weeks from monday 8th-22nd august? my girlfriend and i are camping around europe but i can't be bothered carrying proper bikes on a bike rack - would rather stick them in the boot where people can't see them/don't knick them.
am obviously happy to pay for the privilege and can swap for normal bikes for those two weeks if need be.
thanks dudes

mister dylan - go to evans and just ask to try out any saddle you want. they'll let you buy it and bring it back within 28 days. obviously don't wreck it in that time and they'll give you a refund. if they don't have it on the shelf they can order it in for you.
was speaking to the manager of evans on south bank of london bridge (tooley st?) and he was happy to let me do it :)

mister retro that is awesome and i would love to take you up on your offer. will obviously pay/beer you for your efforts. one small issue i have, is that the hole where the derailleur attaches is not really as circular as it should be - more of an oval random mess. can send you a picture if that's of any use.
cheers dude -
hi there steff. was wondering if i could sneak in on some vice-ing action/get a tad bit of advice on me frame - i've basically bent the gear hanger on my dropout and as this is on my geared bike, it means i can't use the big gears (small cogs) as it stops the chain moving. is there any chance that a nice strong vice could bend a bit of 531 back into place? or am i being a tad adventurous?
many thanks!! -
Still got them. You keen?
