i use to race bmx and have met shenaze before alot of racers use intense micro knobblys which are grippy enough for the loose surface but give awsome grip on the tarmac berms aswell. alot of riders i know use carbon forks and bars which help with the weight but most like myself dont care about weight i use to race a steel frame but still kept up with people with ti frames and carbon and sometimes won :). and about it being toddler downhill some tracks are quick and if you cant pump your coming off
