  So, after many test rides I bought beautiful fast sexy mf from Brick Lane Bikes (the woman in there thinks this website is wanky nonsense...??!!) Ended up paying £630 - am broke but in love. Thanks for all your advice. Nigel.

  Hello,
  I've been cycling in London for over 20 years and now I really want to try a single speed. Any one here got a favorite shop to get a bike from (I know I'm supposed to build my own!) I usually go to Brixton Cycles but they only have two to choose from.
