This is an unusual but very practical bike that can be used for everyday riding.
Started life as a 1963 (I think) Peugeot tourer.
The frame has been de-lugged and powder coated in a sort of magenta/maroon satin finish. The bars were powder coated to match.
Wheels were new builds 700c (622) size using new Rigida twin wall rims in silver. With brown leather hub cleaners.
Tyres are new too in a matching brown colour.
    Bar grips are brown cork
Front brake is an original Mafac centre pull that works well.
Rear hub is where all the magic is ! It's a new S/A two speed kick back with a kick back brake too.
Saddle is a brown Brooks B66
Saddle bag is a matching brown leather one.
This was a build of passion as i wanted a bike with no cables and as that it worked well but in the end i capitulated and fitted front brake in keeping with it's age as it was just more practical to ride that way.
So what we have ended up with is a very pretty bike with a vintage feel but with modern day practicability.
This bike is certainly not for everyone but if you are looking for something different that is still a practical every day ride it maybe for you.
Price is £395 and i'm in BR6 and that does not include the pedals you see in the piccies but i do have others.

Mmm. looking at these pictures i don't like the brake lever..........got plenty more though so you can take your choice if the white one doesn't float your boat

My rather unique Langster has just been stolen from outside Nev’s place in St Pauls Cray, Orpington, Kent.
I suspect it was nicked by some local “oiks” because a really crap bike was dumped where mine was taken from.
Please will you keep your eyes open to see if it pops up anywhere, either in the real world or on the internet?
Description as follows as with the features that it had I think it’s pretty unique and quickly recognisable:-
    Dark Green Specialized Langster
    Brown bar tape
    Map holder attachment on bars
Bar end shifter (3 speed) on right bar end only
    Brooks Swallow (brown) saddle
    Tubas fly L/W rear rack
    S/A 3 speed hub gear
32 spokes in front wheel, 28 spokes in rear wheel
Race Blade mudguards in imitation carbon fibre effect material
    Frame number 70689980
Also registered with Bikeregister.com so it has a white code stencilled on the underneath of the down tube.
Please also feel free to post this anywhere else you think may be useful.

    Cheers
