Taking in 5 restaurant-based checkpoints over about 15 miles, registration is at 2pm for a 3pm start outside the City Hall.
All more than welcome, registration here and/or over on the Facebook event page

I won't quote you due to the length of post.
Everything you just said only goes to prove my point....you see them as 'Talentless people'....i see them as 'Novice cyclists'...there's a big difference. The way people become better cyclists is by gaining experience in rides like this.
If the same people do the ride next year i'm pretty sure their preparation and ability will be far greater due to experience gained this time. The Dunwich dynamo just like London to Brighton isn't an audax or any kind of race...it's the kind of ride that creates cycling enthusiasts due to the sheer sense of achievement they feel upon completion...let's not take that feeling away by making them feel like 'talentless people' simply because of their lack of experience.
You're absolutely right Scott - last year we were a couple of "Talentless people" having never ridden fixed for more than 40 miles or so. Took us a good 9.5 hours and we lost our way on a couple of occasions - even with a GPS and the turn sheet.
This year we ramped up the training with some long distance rides, realised that we didn't need to carry half the workshop and 16l of water with us and managed to shave off a good hour and a half.
Next year hoping to get better still after putting a few more rides under our belts...

Another year and another great ride... 3 things worth noting:
- don't allow anyone riding with you who is a "local" to suggest he knows where he's going. Yes, you get there in the end, but it would have been nice to see some other cyclists
- If you're not hard enough to ride it, Avenue taxis in Ipswich were amazingly accommodating and picked 3 tired and slightly drunk chaps plus 3 dismantled bikes up from Peasenhall at 8am and waited for us at the other end while we put them back together and then gave us wet wipes to clean our hands with.
- Staff at Ipswich station were incredibly friendly, even offering to fill up our water bottles as WHSmith had run out.
Roll on next year.

A few weeks ago we picked up a 50s track tandem with the aim of doing Dunwich on it.
Unfortunately, and yeah we should have seen it coming, we're one part down - the headset. The forks are threaded and closer in size to 1 - 1/8" than 1", but we've tried a 1 - 1/8" threaded and it's a no go.
Digging around it looks like we need a 28mm French threaded headset - I don't suppose anyone can help out?
