Small but important update on the project. After having done a load of measurements I seem to be kind of between frame sizes.
So I’m dithering a bit on which to go for. The XL at 60cm or the L at 57cm. I’m 188cm tall with an 86cm inseam. Have checked a variety of fit calculators and they’re recommending anything from 57cm to 60cm, with 58cm being the sweet spot.
Hmmm…
I’m thinking go for the L in 57cm, better on the smaller side than too big.
Rufus Stone dimensions attached FYI.

I’ve now found the Seasucker goes up to 3 bikes, which would be perfect.
I’m not worried about the Jag, having been built at a time when everything was a lot more solid than today.
I think it was Clarkson who once reviewed it (he had one for a while, as did Hammond) saying it was made out of “rock and iron and churches”.

Bike fit was great. Really insightful. Anyone who’s been thinking about a bike fit but not done it - you really should!
I’m an XL in the Rufus Stone, so all is well and I now have the confidence of knowing for sure what size frame suits me best. How to tweak it regarding lever position, stem length/height, saddle position and post height.
