    I've been using a pair of Gran Compe hubs, laced with black open-pros, for the last 10 months. No complaints so far.

    @ Superprecise - just ride what you're comfortable with... risers are practical for city riding. and see a tongue in cheek comment for what it is.

    don't feel too bad... these retail for a lot, but you can get them cheap new on ebay:
