  I have read the comments on commercial drivers and their idiot attitude towards cycles..
  let me give you confirmation..the truck drivers may think they are kings of the road..however they are tossers..I drove HGV1 for more miles that I care to remember..If you could listen to the bullshit they spew out in a transport office you would go mad..the standard of driving is on the whole average at best..
  Now to a little infomation which could save your bacon!!!
  usually on the near side of a artic trailer you will see a little button marked TRAILER BRAKE if you pull it out ( I am not suggesting you do this !! ) the trailer brakes will lock on..
  I had to preform this last resort tactic a few years ago..the trucktosser was not happy..however..
  look for that trailer brake its there..learn the position of it..one day as a last resort in a James Bond type effort it may save your life..
  By the way dont take te p..s out of this info..there is always another side to every story..I had a friend who ran over a cyclist who CUT ACROSS his path at a traffic light and the tachograph proved his speed and reaction time..however Mr O did not drive HGV again

  Daily use has enforsed me to contenplate a new saddle..how do "Brooks"saddles fair in the wet ? Any way i will leave that with you as i now have to go to bed with the delightful Lizzy to watch a art house film and share bottle of vino..sleep well my unknown friends.....

  Got a niterider Fazor5 and tail lght from timani-ltd off ebay for 33.99inc pp .. a energiser batt charger including 6aa 2500nmhi batts for 12.99 from medbat again ebay..well pleased.. really tiptop enlightening value im going to get another Fazor5 for the front..burn time on the led at max power more than 3 hours...with the two lights i will run stobe on one and max light on the other if im filtering through traffic ..lots of combinations with this cheep but excellent set up..ian
