Hope you enjoy your Pomp. I'm on my 3rd...first crashed, second stolen. You may want to upgrade the freewheel pretty quick, the standard 'Eagle' one is a bit poo and the fixed gear and lockring are cheapy too. Otherwise it's all good. You gone for drop bars or flats?

Finished for the minute, probably get some new wheels and a stem when I can afford it

mudguards/lights aren't all that attractive but they serve their purpose

So what's the cable guide on the underside of the drive side chainstay for?

    Nearly finished:

    Things to do:

Slightly shorter stem - 90mm with maybe 17 degree rise (current is 100mm with 10 degree)
New wheel set - Thinking gold Planet-X hubs and black mavic open sport rims (on a budget). Silver spokes maybe?
New seatpost - Maybe an Easton EA30
New saddle - Not sure, probably a Charge Spoon in black
New pedals - Might force myself to go SPD.

Looking good!!! I've just bought a Sterling Green Large Pomp after agonising over the colour, but the brown looks really good in your photos. Unfortunately I've now done my back in, so I can't even get her out to take photos at the moment let alone ride :-(

Does anyone have a Chrome Ivan backpack that they would care to share their opinions on? I'm looking for a backpack to commute with and also that I can use off the bike when travelling (I'm pretty sure it fulfils the requirements for hand luggage). Thanks

Thanks for that. I'd be interested in one of those last OG ones if I could get a brake mount fork and a decent price to the UK

They're making me a double crown fork with canti mounts and I'm having one of the last framesets, for a do it all road/offroad/cyclocross type build I've got going on. They've also made up some clusterforks with 990 mounts. The only thing you can't have is a normal road caliper due to the long a-c.

Shipping isn't too bad, customs will want their customary pound of flesh, but I've wanted one of these for soooo long and this is my last chance so I'm biting the bullet. Tokyo Fixed Gear had 1 left in a 50cm at £775 f+f but that's just too big for me (they have odd sizing)

Joe at BMW has found enough tubing lurking about to make 15 more Gangstas in the factory in Brooklyn. They'll all be 46cm, and I know that at least 13 are spoken for. Not sure of the time scale but the top tubes are at the laser cutters at the moment. They're asking $850 f+f, and I think that includes a headset and seatpost. I was told the Taiwanese made versions will be available from the end of June, but will not have the double crown fork. I believe they'll have the clusterfork instead.

Do I just add my user name to a vacant position, or is there some form of etiquette I need to follow? How is payment arranged?

    Thanks
