I was always broke but in 1984 I started with:
1969 Suzuki AS50
then
Suzuki A100Then I got my test and woooo, "power"
Honda CD175
Honda CB200
Honda CB175
Honda CB500T (worst of the lot!)
Suzuki GT500
Honda CB550/4etc etc etc

Long piece (part review, part hagiography) on the motikom.
At this time I'm more likely to get a 2nd hand beeline as my only requirement is navigation and less noise (foam ear plugs work for me).
IF I was to start riding with a pillion or with a riding partner then I would certainly consider getting one.
