Has the dude with the not so cool tires/tubes got home yet? Until next time
That would be me... Sampled the rest of London's transport on the way home, the DLR and tube are very unwelcoming to stranded cyclists.
Anyway, didn't put a dampener on the night at all, had a super fun time and can't wait for the next one. Thanks for everyone for waiting whilst I figured out the best way to get back. Might be a Zipp and a Campy wheel up for sale soon so I can come on more!
Great night!
******SOLD******
This bike has served me superbly for the three years I have been in London, never breaking down. Very sad to see this bike go, however, I am now leaving to cycle across SE Asia for six months and so must regrettably sell it in order to finance a touring bike. This is a very unique bike (check out the colour scheme!) that handles impeccably. The 650c front wheel gives it a slightly low-pro look, yet the geometry gives a very comfy riding position on the longest rides. The clearance on the front wheel is also impressively minimal!
Would love to see this bike go to someone who’ll really enjoy it, as it has never let me down. Don’t hesitate to get in touch to arrange to see and try it out for size (I am slightly over 6 foot). I am based around Islington/ Stoke Newington, but can happily get anywhere in London in no time for viewings.
Here are the exact specs:
Frame/ Forks: Cougar by Terry Dolan, 58cm, Italian Dedalo Acciaio 25Cr Mo4 tubing (very light), pink and yellow colour scheme

Front wheel: 650c Mavic MA40 on Shimano HB-M451 hub
Rear wheel: 700c Campagnolo Moskva 80 on Gran Compe hub
Crankset: Shimano 105
Chain ring: Stronglight 48T
Seat post: Nitto
Seat: Viscount
Stem: Cinelli
Bars: Aluminium riser
Brake: Shimano 105

I will also include a brand new rear tire (the current one is looking a bit thin) and brand new grips (in the colour of your choice).
Thanks,
Ben
